The bronzers are light-you don't have to worry about streaking etc. It has a "old Lady" smell to it ha ha but its not overpowering at all. I give it a 5 cuz it gets my face so dark!!!

Brand: Designer Skin Lotion: Vanishing Act Rating: 3 out of 5 Debut Year: 2005 Type: DHA Bronzer (Facial) Bottle Size: 4 oz. Price: $17-23 Ingredients: N/A
Scent: I won’t lie; it smells nasty. I think it’s intended to be fragrance free, but because of the medicinal properties (see the Special notes below), it just smells like menthol and… ickiness. Hold your breath when you apply!
Lotion: It’s a thinner lotion, but in the case of this lotion, that’s a good thing because of the bottle style. I actually reeeeeeally hate the bottle, but I put up with it. You unscrew the cap, and that’s it. The lotion is just… there. You have to dump the lotion out like a ketchup bottle. It’s caused a few messes.
Color: Back when I actually used this as a facial tanner, I never noticed much of a color boost. Dihydroxyacetone is at the bottom of the ingredients list, so there’s no help there. It’s probably better than using nothing (if you tan your face) simply for the moisturization, but if you’re looking to get your face darkdarkdark, this probably isn’t the lotion for you.
Special: The name of this lotion refers to the disappearance of acne. This lotion has salicylic acid in it, which helps battle breakouts. I was skeptical at first, but I have very sensitive facial skin (I never buy facial products without first sampling as 80% cause breakouts), so I decided to give it a try. At first, I used it sporadically, back when I used to tan my face. 2-3 times per week was not enough to notice any difference in the reduction of break-outs. However, after I stopped tanning my face, I decided to use it as a daily moisturizer. That’s when I started to notice a difference. As I type this, my face is perfectly smooth without a single pimple. It works fantastically for me if I use it every day. I’ll definitely buy it again when I run out (a little goes a long way, so the 4oz. will last a while; I’ve used it probably around 50 times and still have 3/4 of the bottle left).
