Brand: Ed Hardy Lotion: Body Shots Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Debut Year: 2011(?) Type: Tingle (DHA: yes) Bottle Size: 13.5 oz. Price: $28-32 Ingredients: N/A Scent: Citrus-y, but it also has that “tingle smell”—you know the one; it’s kind of like a cinnamon spice? The smell is pretty good. This is DHA-heavy, so there’s a mild ATO. Not a game-changer though. Lotion: This lotion is decent in the moisture department—average, I’d say. The texture is perfect, not too thick or thin. Let’s talk about heat. I’m not going to lie; this lotion is hot. You may or may not feel like a burn victim for an hour or two. Plus side: it’s not too itchy. Just straight up burn. Heat-wise, I’d compare it to Devoted Creations “Trinity3,” although I feel Body Shots is the hotter of the two. Color: Color boost! It’s heavy in DHA, so obviously, you’re going to get something, but I feel like Body Shots’s color has staying power. It’s not a shower-washer-offer. This is probably the darkest tingle I’ve tried. Special: This is a big bottle size, so this lotion will keep you going for a while.

By Princesa (05/23/2011 9:47:32 am): Scent-Nice,citrusy
Bronzers-they were ok
Zero ato
Moisturization-was ok,not super hydrating..
Tingle-this was a medium tingle on me..it didn't last long either but I did get red from it.
Overall not a bad tingle/bronzer....would I buy a bottle?? No...but I'd use a sample once in a while...this gave me a nice color boost but in the end there are better tingle/bronzer combos out there...
2/5 stars

I have a bottle of this and I love it! When I first used it it was super hot on me but after a while I get used to it and it feels more like heat. It isn't itchy at all. It isn't super moisturizing but it isn't the worst I've used.
The color I get is amazing! This is one of my favorite tingles/bronzer combos.
5/5

I've been wanting to try this for a while now and I finally had my chance yesterday. Used a packet.
Scent is good - kind of citrusy with the 'tingle heat' smell. I liked it.
Moisture was pretty good compared to other lotions I've tried. Absorbed well.
Tingle - I hardly felt a thing :-(. But I honestly think I'm becoming immune to tingles. So don't go by what I say.
Bottom line - it's not all that I'd hoped for but it's ok. I did get some color... including on my palms and between my fingers even though I wiped them with a towel. Hate that. Zero ATO though, even with all the DHA. Would I buy a bottle? Probably not. But I'll give it 3/5 just for being average.

My coworker bought me a bottle of this for my graduation preasent and I used it today in a Sundash Competion 232 with new lamps for the full 15.
Scent- it's citrusy but it kind of reminds me of cherry Kool Aid. I really like the scent. My coworker said while I was tanning she was walking down the hallway to clean the beds and she said the hallway smelt so good because of it.
Lotion- the lotion is kind of almost a pinkish brown, it's pretty moisturizing, spreads really well, not to thin or thick, but I did fell a little sticky a couple hours after tanning.
Tingle- I was expecting this to be super hot but it was actually kind of relaxing to me. Just like being wrapped up in a heated blanket. It made my whole body feel really hot and I could almost feel it internally (if that makes sense). Tingle is the 3rd ingredient in this lotion.
Color boost- after the initial redness went away (it only lasted about 35 minutes) I was a nice deep dark brown. I had clients ask me what lotion I was using because I was so dark and I went to go get a slurpee at 7/11 after work and the woman behind the counter asked if I just came back from vacation hahahaha.
All and all: this one gets a 5/5 from me. I love the scent, the tingle, and the results. I defintley want to try more lotions by ed hardy

Tried a packet of this today at a local salon (I'm out of town and my home salon offers few choices as far as lotions) Scent...um, I actually can't remember what it smelled like going on. I figure if it's not memorable, it must not be horrible. Texture...it's a silicone based lotion I believe so it went on very smoothly and evenly. My skin feels soft and smooth but I would not say this one is moisturizing...at all! I have yet to find a tingle that is though. Tingle...I could actually feel the tingle start before I even started the bed. This is a hot lotion, but not the pins and needles type of tingle. I feel very toasty even an hour later (today is perfect for that...it's cool and rainy). I feel like I've spent an afternoon on the sand at the beach...and that's EXACTLY what I look for in a tingle. ATO...there's a lot of dha in this one...the smell was kicking in while I was still in the bed. But I will say it's not TOO bad now. Color...again, I look like I've spent the day oceanside At first my skin was REALLY red...redder than any tingle has gotten me lately. But now it's turning into a nice rich tan. This seems like a good plateau breaker! 5/5 for me...it does exactly what I want a tingle to do for me. I think Ruby has a run for iit's money now. p.s. I just brushed the side of my face with my forearm, and now my cheek is on fire. Not smart

I tanned 20 minutes in a base bed with this about 3 hours ago. I am still feeling the heat. Starting to get a little itchy. I applied the lotion very well and took my time. Feel like I got a good brown color from it. I used a packet and the scent was like orange pulp. Wondering if my lotion was old because it was on the thinner side and had very tiny flakes of brown in it.

Scent: Citrusy, but also a strong tingle smell. It almost smelled like something burnt. Ew.
Lotion: Decently moisturizing, definitely silicone based.
ATO: None really that I remember.
Heat: This one wasn't that hot to me, although I remember feeling it within the first 30 seconds I was in the bed. It wasn't itchy either. Kinda prickly on my legs and my arms. I was a deep red brown color when I got out. One of my tanners used a packet of it after I recommended it to her and she actually had to get out of the bed early because it was so hot for her.
Color: Holy. Shit. I used a random tantoo on my leg & I had an outline for a week. Not kidding. That's with me shaving every day too. I didn't even tan for a week after using this because I got SO ridiculously dark. It was a BROWN color too, which is great for me since I normally tan kind of goldeny.
5/5. I'd normally take off for the horrible scent, but the color more than makes up for it.

First off, I got this lotion off of amazon.com from All American Tanning, and I HIGHLY recommend you choose them for your next tanning purchase! I ordered my lotion Sunday night and received it Tuesday morning! I have never experienced such quick shipment! The bottle was sealed in plastic wrap, with a label on the plastic identifying the lotion and it's condition (which was new of course). The bottle was in perfect condition, I hope to do business with them again. Anyways onto the review: Scent: LOVE this scent. It is super citrus-y, kind of like fresh orange peels. I didn't detect any tingle smell at all. Very fresh! ATO: Surprisingly, I did not distinguish any ATO at all, and it's the next morning! Heat: WOW. This is HOT. I LOVE tingles and use them most often. I have tried Ruby, HD Fatale, and multiple other tingles with nothing but a brief warming sensation. This was so hot in a skin patch test, that I was afraid to try it. But, I went ahead and used it last night. I got through about 3 minutes on a level 3 bed, before I had to turn the fan onto full force. I could only stay in for 10 minutes total before it got to be too much. Definitely not for beginners. But, if you are looking for a strong tingle, I highly recommend. Color: This color is the bomb. It is NOT orange and NOT streaky, although I have seen reviews on amazon.com suggesting that. It gives you a deep brown color (it is high in DHA) and the color stays! Overall: 5/5 Try it!

Scent-like everyone says citrus/tingle smell. I am not a fan of the smell at all, but it had been on my tanning lotion bucket list for a long time when I got it awhile ago. Not intolerable by any means. ATO-oh yeah. It's there. Tingle DHA citrus. Texture-medium, spreads easily. Not a really moisturizing one for me at all, but it actually works because I felt like it kept me from getting so sweaty in the hot bed. Tingle-I personally feel this sucker before I even get into the bed, especially on my chest area!!!! Ladies, you'll know what I mean xD I had used it before and didn't get as much of a tingle as I did this last time in 12 minute medium pressure bed. Tingle lasted on my butt, upper legs, and upper arms the entire time in the bed. I was pretty red when I got out, but now my color is AWESOME. I'm not sure why I don't use this more often, maybe it's the smell??? I really can't stand citrus scents but shockingly the combo of this, the tingle smell, and DHA still doesn't kill this lotion for me! The color and tingle are too great. 4.5/5
