So I received some samples of this entire line a couple of days ago, and just used this lotion last night, and here is my review.
Texture: The consistency of this lotion was much thinner than I expected to see, but nevertheless it was extremely silky upon application, and a little went a long way. Normally I use anywhere from 1.5-2 oz of lotion every time I tan, but I was able to completely cover my body plus a little more with one of Synergy's generous 1oz packettes, so that is a big plus for me, as I can get more uses out of one bottle.
Scent: What Synergy described as "Sultry Black Vanilla Coconut" seemed more to me as a Banana Coconut scent, extremely similar to California Tan's Ambrosia collection, not bad, just not what I expected. ATO was extremely manageable as well, just certain areas seemed to hint the presence of DHA, with my hands reeking the most.
Color: For having DHA listed half way down the ingredients list, I wasn't expecting half the results I got. Upon application I was already two shades darker thanks to the exorbitant number of cosmetic bronzers, and to my surprise I was darker and darker to the point of a midsummer tan. Stupid me didn't wipe my hands properly, due to DHA's placement on the ingredient list, and was slightly left with a rusty hue on my palms, webs, and wrists. Other than my little mishap, I would 100% use this again, and again, for the out of this world bronzer boost.
Verdict: For a retail of $59.00 and the freaking adorable packaging alone I would purchase this. But seriously everyone needs to ditch their overpriced dark bronzers and give this mid-range lotion a shot, to truly appreciate the insane bronzing power of this lotion.
