Feels good on the skin and delivers good color. But I HATE the way it smells! I like my lotions fruity'ish. This smells like women's perfume. Women's perfume that I don't like.
And yes, the price is outrageous. I got mine for a great discount on Amazon. So shop around.
Overall, 3/5 stars. I'd rate it less due to the smell alone, but it is a good lotion.

Great lotion! The bronzers are not dark. It gives a lovely colour boost! Scent is defo one you'd like or hate. I like it. Kind of perfumey like a men's cologne. I love the sparkley badge, but that didnt last long before the batteries died lol! It applies so easy and leaves my skin soft. No ato, the scent fades to a light scent. 4/5 stars

I had a bottle of this a while ago (it was an upgrade to my DS Black which I used to really like)
Scent- it's a good unisex scent. It's perfumey and musky at the same time.
ATO- none but then about 4 hours later there would be some DHA smell.
Lotion- Feels like a lot of silicone but it does feel hydrating. It's a dark brown color and absorbs in nicely. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the shimmer in it but whatever.
Color Boost- I always got some good color when I used this one. I couldn't use this on my face though because it would make me break out.
All and all- 4/5(just wasn't crazy about the ton of silicone and the shimmer but other than that it's a great lotion).

Scent: It's a light perfumey scent. No ATO. It's a good one to use if you have to go somewhere after tanning.
Lotion: It's a pretty thin reddish brown lotion with silicone. It rubbed in nicely. It has lots of really fine shimmer particles that I could do without, but it's not obnoxious.
Color: I definitely wouldn't consider this a dark bronzer. I got a little color boost from this, but it wasn't anything to write home about.
This isn't a bad lotion by any means, but I definitely wouldn't buy a bottle of it at retail price. I guess I'd give it 3.5/5

Smell: Isn't it weird how differently people perceive things? I LOOOVE how this smells. I would take a bath in it if I could. It's so light, fresh, clean, and--like everybody else said--perfumey. No ATO to speak of.
Consistency, etc.: This is a dark brick red color coming out of the bottle, but, even though it has quite a bit of silicone, it absorbs into skin right away and doesn't transfer. It's my go-to when I don't plan ahead and accidentally wear white to the salon. This leaves me soft enough to skip after-tan moisturizer. There are tiny, faint little shimmer particles, but someone would have to be looking pretty hard to spot them on your skin.
Color: This gives me a good color boost. Not dramatic, not amazing, just good. That said, though, I like that it actually turns me a nice, toasty, straight-up brown--not orange, not reddish, not yellowish (Can you tell that I spend a lot of time squinting at my skin in a paranoid way? Haha.)
All in all, 4.5 out 5. This is something I'll keep repurchasing until somebody has to pry it out of my cold, dead fingers.

Luminary was one of the rare top of the line DS lotion that I actually loved (typically, I'm a fan of ones that are just a step below.) I bought Luminary when it first came out because of the smell and the way my skin felt when I put it on. Seriously, it felt like silk and smelled almost fizzy, if that makes sense. I always got great color with this and the skincare really can't compare. 5/5 from me!

Used my Luminary packet and fell in love! I love everything about this lotion from the fresh smell (Champagne Fizz) to the dark results I got! The lotion is very nice and easily absorbs. As the day went on I could see the flecks of glitter on my skin and this really deepened my tan! A coworker told me how much bronzer i was and told me that I need to get a bottle of this!! 5/5
