We had a beautiful spring morning here in Ireland, sunshine and a light breeze. And mild too at 10c. But it wasn't to last, its now spilling hailstones and rain. No snow thankfully!

About 2 feet on top of my lawn. 6 foot piles along my driveway and street.
50 degrees today, but did not make much dent in the piles of snow yet.

On the 13th of February, we got 18 inches of snow in VA. It took at least a week for it to melt! But there are still piles of snow piled up sky high around town in parking lots. It is actually now snowing as a I type this...GRRR!

Has been around 10, 12, 14F around here lately, but with no snow falling. Don't like this cold. Tan takes a beating when its this cold. Dries out the skin. Even with moisturizer which I do not particularly like to use altho I have been forced to use my Maui Babe moisturizer to control the peels. Is this winter ever going to end?

And Now, Right outside my door:
RECORD LOWS!!!! (Again)...
8F feels like -5 Sunny with temperatures steady or slowly warming to the mid single digits. Winds WNW at 5 to 10 mph.
But it says UV index=4, daytime high : 22F
Should I put my bathing suit on and lay out?

Balmy! -6f feeling like -21f this morning here. Clear blue skies and not an inch of grass or pavement to be seen. Should get up to maybe 6f today, then warms up tomorrow with more, u guessed it...snow, then the temps plummet on Sunday. Hopefully by next Friday we start to see some sense of a warming trend with temps in the high 20s, low 30s. How's your winter going?

And TONIGHT (Sunday) and all day tomorrow (Monday) our 16th snow storm of the winter. I am expecting another FOOT of snow starting tonight.
I NEED to get my Emergency Tanning in. Yes, every else is running out to get bread and milk, and I am concerned about getting my Tanning in because the salon will be closed on Monday.

So I woke up today (3 AM as usual).... to a DOUBLE BONUS!!!
1). Foot of snow prediction is a BUST and we are only getting 1-3 inches of snow. About 1 inch on the ground from overnight now and it's only flurrying out now.
2). The tanning salon will probably be open so I get to tan 7 days in a row today.
YEA for tanning.
On the negative side the temperature for Monday night (tonight) is going down to -2F. (Not a wind chill). BRR BRR!!! I NEED that WARM tanning bed.

It was 16 degrees Thursday morning here. Going to 42 today (Friday), 50 and Sunny on Saturday, 57 on Tuesday, and back down to 14 on Thursday night. WTF? Spring is coming (but way too slowly), in the Northeastern U.S.
