There have been a series (10 days) of FABULOUS outdoor tanning in my area. Sunny. UV=9. Highs 88-95. Low humidity. I have gotten outside to tan for a few hours every day, including a fabulous day at the beach on Friday with my lovely spouse of 33 years on our wedding anniversary this past week. Way too many outdoor tanning hours to count. It most definitely is above 200 hours of outdoor tanning this fabulous outdoor tanning summer.

Got 2 hours of tanning in today using Reef Sun Tan Oil in Spf 30. It's probably the most popular tanning oil here where I live and I've used it for the past 10 years. Has a great coconut smell and leaves my skin so incredibly smooth after my after-tan shower. I've almost used it up though so will be going back to the Reef in Spf 4 as the results are much better. Tomorrow is raining so will report back when the sun's out Happy Tanning everyone!

Going for a family beach day in Ocean City, NJ with my wife, daughter, and son-in-law. It's going to be 80 and partly sunny at the "Jersey Shore". This is the place I took the family when they were young and it has a special set of memories for my now 30 year old daughter. The day will involve an early surrey ride (4 person silly pedal vehicle) on the board walk, lunch at Prep's Pizza, Kohr's soft ice cream, Johnson's carmel coated Popcorn, possibly a game of miniature golf on the Boardwalk, and of course, THE BEACH and sun tanning. It's very late post labor day summer - so the UV index is only a 7. We will make the most of it and have a great family beach day!!!

Yay its warming up! 27 degrees (80) today and it will be 80-86 for the next 2 weeks. Today was only a UV of 3-5 (at 2pm when I tanned) but the weather was so beautiful I had to leave school early to get in another 2 hours. Priorities right? Lol! Have used up all of my 30 spf tanning oil and have my 6 spf ready to crack open tomorrow so pretty excited. Only onto my third tanning session and my skin has darkened considerably. Man I'm glad I'm not working 9-5 at the moment and can do this all the time! It's so relaxing I fell asleep today whilst tanning and I study so much better after as well

86 today with a UV of 7 and 0% cloud cover! Got an hour in but had to cut it short due to 2 assignments due on Friday, plan to get through them both this afternoon and tonight so I can relax and tan tomorrow after class. Used my Reef tanning oil in SPF 6 which got me plenty dark in no time! Gosh I hate being inside whilst its so beautiful out there, but on a good note my boyfriend says I'm getting really dark Woohoo!!

About 100F today with a UV index of 10. I live abroad in Dubai where Friday and Saturday are the weekend so I slathered on some Banana Boat tanning oil and let myself bake for a good 2 hours. Tomorrow's forecast looks just as good as I'll likely do it all over again.
By the way, does lying on a pool float and tanning while in the water help make you darker still due to the reflection? Because I feel like I'm at a plateau and want to get darker still.

Slept in till 11am so only had so much time to tan but I put on my tanning oil and let myself bake outside for an hour. It was brutally hot (105) but with a UV index of 12 I definitely soaked up some color. Let myself lie on a pool float to try and stay cool and wish I could have been out there for another hour or two but sadly will have to wait to the next weekend to continue tanning.
That being said, I'm tempted to slather tanning oil on my skin when I'm at track practice during the week just to try and put more color into my arms and legs as I'm clad in pretty minimal clothing then.
