Right now I'm in Seattle so usually the weathers not nice enough - although the UV index is a 6 today so I might try to get some natural sun even tho it's freezing outside. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk You sound just like me. Believe me, I know exactly how you feel. Even though the conditions may not be perfect, if the sun achieves a certain intensity (UV) of 6 or greater the urge to lay out in the sun can get overwhelming. I will try to locate a quiet place out of the wind in the direct sun to layout/sit to get as much sun as possible. You sometimes have to be creative to find a place, but it can be accomplished. Is it just me or does anyone else do this? I lay out back at my house in 60 degrees and windy if it is SUNNY and an appropriate UV index, in my shorts. I'm sure my neighbors think I am crazy..... Fortunately, I stopped caring about what other people think decades ago.

Why do you only tan outdoors? Indoor tanning means no horrible white bits lol. I lay only outdoors. But I also tan topless and normally in a small thong as well, but I am also surrounded by 200 acres of land and have no neighbors so I am able to keep away from "the white bits"

I am jealous and envious. You have the perfect place to tan. A place with privacy so that you can make the most of your tanning opportunity whenever you want. Enjoyed your comment on the "the white bits". I am glad you don't have to put up with "them" like I have to. That said, get out there and get some serious tanning accomplished. Then please document your tanning progress in pictures and share them with envious tanners (like me) here at Iamtanforever.

Perks of living on a farm lol. But I love it and would not have it any other way, I'm secluded, no neighbors surrounded by some of the most beautiful Virginia Mountains. I am gonna try to take a pic today since my red has faded and I can get out today and enjoy the 90+ weather and the high 9 UV index!!! =D

Layed 2 hours today, took this pic as soon as I got outside which is results of only 2 days of laying. I used EG Dark Star 60X again but doubled up with EG 75X tanning cocktail.

You went from winter white to that brown in 2 layouts? You half Indian or something? Used to take me 2 layouts just to start getting colour, and a week to get a full tan. Outdoor tanning was very rare for me though as I live in a country with bad weather and a UV index that rarely goes above 6. You get a week of good weather then it rains for 2 weeks and the tan fades quickly lol.

Yeah that was me. I'm not advocating indoor tanning. But if you're gonna tan then no white bits is a good thing? Just wondered why you only tanned outdoors. Thanks for clarifying! I'm just glad that you aren't one of the people who thinks indoor tanning is horrible but yet think there is nothing wrong with laying outside for 10 hrs everyday and frying to a crisp.

People often think im crazy as I'm out there shivering away in a bathing suit. I always seem to wimp out pretty fast though. and of course today its pouring with rain

Laying out in your swim suit when the sun is strong but the temps are cool is not easy to put up with and people wonder if you need a full psychiatric evaluation when they look at you. But the urge/drive/passion (or whatever you want to call it) to get some UV can be overwhelming. I know the desire compels me to do what I have to satisfy my need for UV. Do you (or anyone else) ever feel the same way?
