I have been tanning off and on for about 3-4 years. I am curvy and curvy is always better when tan! (:
Every-time I tan I have only ever bought Maui Babe Outdoor formula because it gets you dark and fast and my salon doesn't care what we use. But about my 3rd month in, I realize I've reached my plateau. I worked at a salon for a little and used Kardashian Glow Iced Bronzer a few times, i didn't notice much of a cooling sensation but it definitely got me dark. We'll i have been searching the internet trying to do as much research as i can because i definitely can not afford a $100 lotion especially when i know they're not worth that much.
I have looked into: 14 Karat Gold Rush - Geared for plateau breaking. Kardashian Glow Ice Bronzer - Because i'm comfortable with it. Kardashian Dark Bronzer Liquid Metals Liquid Assets Austrailian Gold HOT & Black Noir.
Suggestions ? Complaints ?
Also i notice you guys like quite a few Websites to order from but i'm REALLY freaked to get screwed over. Everyone on the internet says they're all fake fake fake.
Ive checked out L2G but they have no recent reviews on they're site.. Ebay Darktans but ebay scares me Ebay wholesaletans
But i know with ebay you get free shipping!
Help.Help.Help.

Don't be afraid of buying on Ebay. Make sure you check the sellers ratings and as long as their ratings are good, you should be fine. I purchase most of my lotions from Ebay or Amazon. There is a thread on here somewhere where we discuss buying online and who we have purchased from. As far as hitting a plateau, are you looking for bronzers or tingles? I always use a tingle to break a plateau. Here is a link to a thread that discusses online stores: iamtanforever.proboards.com/thread/756/where-buy-lotions-online

My tan is a little gold when I want more brown. So I might stray from bronzers.

I've bought all my current lotions from Amazon myself. I've never had an issue with them. Unless saving $$ is an issue

are you rotating beds? Like switching medium pressure to low pressure Etc. I think if you don't want to use tingles, definitely get some accelerators (pure lotions without bronzers) in there. Sometimes it takes figuring out the right combination of beds and lotion for your skin to break a plateau. I see you were considering Australian Gold Hot, and I love that accel! I also love Fierce D Fense also by AG, and tonight used Designer Skin juicy and got a great boost even having used a tingle bronzer the day before. As far as online purchases go, after years of tanning and buying off of the Internet, I have only ever received what im pretty sure was a fake lotion, and that was Black Tan extender by Designer skin. And back then I never paid attention to sellers.

Personally, I myself am not a huge fan of Smoke Black, but a lot of people love it. To me, the smell of the lotion ( citrus, which I am just not a big fan of) and the ATO (heavy with DHA) is just too strong for me, and it's way too streaky and unforgiving. But I think I've only used it twice maybe, so I'll definitely give it another go! I'd try a packet of smoke black if you can. And yes, most of us here rotate different levels along with lotions keeps your skin guessing. Also make sure you're moisturizing often, I do twice a day morning and night.

If your not into tingles you could try a warming lotion like DS Steamy Confessions.. I can totally second Steamy Confessions! This lotion gives awesome color and is super relaxing as far as warming goes. I work in a salon and in the late fall and early winter we carried this lotion and I would sell at least 4 bottles a day of it because people loved the warming feeling during the cold months. It's like being wrapped in a heated blanket. The Bronzers in this are super light too. I also saw someone suggested Fierce D Fense and I agree 1000% with that one too! Awesome acclerator! I'll also add DS Phoencian and Pumped to this list. Both are amazing intensifiers that deliver awesome color. (I'm partial to Phoencian- mainly cause the feel and scent, but both give equally great color IMO)
