Its perfumey but light imo. ~Its very moisturizing and "melts" into my skin. ~No ato at all!!!!!! ~Bronzers are light but not bad either,,but I am dark right now....I have used it when I wasn't super dark and it did give me a good boost of color. Definitely one of the best lotions from DS!! By Princesa (03/07/2008 9:06:19 pm): I forgot to add that my skin felt super amazingly soft and silky=) One of the main reasons why I luv this lotion!!!! 5/5 stars

Pros - Very silicone-y. Rubs in very well. Great color, but I used this to work up my base. More moisturizing than some other lotions I've tried.
Cons - smells funny. Slightly perfume-y but I've had worse. And even tho I rubbed my hands off well, it still stained them a little from the bronzers.
Overall, I will keep this lotion in my rotation. But it's not a favorite. 3.5/5 stars.

This was the first “nice” tanning lotion I ever bought.
Scent – It has a light perfume scent. It kind of reminds me of old lady perfume though (or at least what my grandma wore), luckily the scent is not too overpowering though.
Texture – Rubs in nicely & is super moisturizing.
Color – It gives a good boost, but I did expect more from a bronzer. It is a nice lighter one when you are building your tan but I definitely think there are better bronzers.
3/5

This is one of my favorites. I must be on my eighth bottle at this point. The scent is wonderful, I'm a fan of perfumey scents like this. It has a slight hint of flowers.
I love the consistency of all DS lotions, and how they're not thick at all. This one definitely rubs right in.
The color boost is good, it's not the darkest out there, but it's great just for regular tanning. My skin naturally tans golden and I prefer a natural darker brown instead, and this light bronzer helps with that.
No ato for me. I would definitely recommend this one to any level of tanner as long as they don't streak easily (It might be slightly too much for a pale beginner but I've used it when pale and I was fine) and they don't mind perfume scents.

Spellbound is one of my favorite bronzers of all time and it was a bestseller because it's perfect. Seriously, I wish I could have kept this in my rotation but they went and discontinued it! Spellbound glides on the skin like a dream because it's loaded with silicone and it smells so wonderful - just slightly perfumey. The results I got with Spellbound were better than the results I had gotten with anything else, I was nice and brown. Sigh. I wish it was back in its original formula!
