I like it actually smells nice and the scent fades after tanning. *ATO is minimal *This lotion is really moisturizing w/out being greasy,is kinda a pain to rub in but not bad. *Warming in this is light and nice. *For not having bronzers this gave me a nice color boost. Overall I'm happy I got a bottle of this! I really like it. This is another lotion with a love it or hate it scent......try a packet 1st to make sure you like it. 4/5 stars

Brand: Designer Skin Lotion: Rue La La Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Debut Year: 2012 Type: Accelerator (Warming) Bottle Size: 13.5 oz. Price: $34-38 Ingredients: N/A
Scent: The official scent is “kiwi and sandalwood.” I can definitely see that. It has a very earthy, incense-like smell that clearly is sandalwood, but then there’s an underlying fruitiness—the kiwi. I really like the smell.
Lotion: It’s a little thick and took some time rubbing in. It’s not too bad on shaved skin, but I expect it might be an issue on hairy legs. In regards to the warming, I didn’t notice it, but that didn’t surprise me. I don’t think I’ve ever noticed warming in a lotion before.
Color: I got a really nice boost from this! With it being DS, I wasn’t expecting much since my skin doesn’t react to DS. However, I was happy to be proven wrong about this lotion! I plan to buy a full bottle someday.

Scent: I thought I was going to hate the scent, but I think it smells alright. That being said, I think it's giving me a headache and I sneezed as soon as I started applying it. After tanning, I can still smell the original scent with a little bit of ATO.
Texture: It's a fairly thick white lotion. It wasn't too hard to rub in. I feel really soft.
Color: I am pleased with the results, but they could be partly due to using it in a 10 minute bed with more power than the 15 minute bed that I normally use.
Warming: I normally don't feel anything from warming lotions, but I think I feel some warming from this one. Then again, that could also be due to using a hotter bed.

Tried this one today and bought a bottle before trying it because they were having a sale. (buy a bottle of lotion and get your choice of 1 session of teeth whitening or 3 sessions of red light therapy. plus i get 40% off all products always being a v.i.p. member.)
ANYWHOOOO I liked this.
texture: fairly hard to rub in, but extrememly soft and moisturizing.
scent: different smell, i pick up some kiwi and woodsy smell but also clean?? idk.
color: decent color boost, not AMAZING. but pretty decent.
warming: I somewhat felt it. pretty light.
overall 4/5 stars.

This was the second warming lotion I have tried, and although I love the sensation from tingles, I'm a huge fan of this as well. Perfect lotion for once the weather cools off, although it is a bit thick to rub in. It's a very different scent, so I'd try a packet before to bottle to make sure it's something you like. I had very little ATO afterwards (I think from the sandalwood) and a nice color boost for a bronzer-free lotion.
4/5

I used Rue La La earlier today and am impressed! The lotion itself was thick, creamy & white and easy to apply. I think this smells earthy/woodsy with a hint of kiwi. Overall, a nice smell during tanning and afterwards too. About halfway through the 15 minute session, I felt warmer than usual. After getting out of the bed, I noticed a nice boost of color. Even though it wasn't full on tingle, I felt somewhat warm and the feeling and redness lasted for a couple of hours afterward. Seven hours later I have very little ATO and my tan is getting browner. Loved this so much, I had to buy a bottle! 5 out of 5 stars.

Scent- Just as described at first I wasn't too sure about it but the more I use it the more I like it. No ATO Texture- On the thicker side and takes a second to rub in but not too bad. Warming- I don't feel it at all, but I expected that. Color- Always get a great boost from this lotion, LOVE IT!

Scent- to me it just has a slight fragrance nothing too overwhelming good or bad - no ato Texture - is a thick lotion, must be sure to rub this on in, this is one that feels like you can't wait to wash it off after several hours have gone by, feels almost sticky or drying or something but not hydrating Warming - don't really feel the warmth but do see a reddening of the skin Color - great color from this lotion, always gets you darker 5/5 for this one, doesn't make you itch and burn like a tingle but gives you that color effect, will always be in my rotation

Scent: I can't think of a way to describe it. It doesn't smell like anything in particular. It's not a good smell or bad smell it just smells like a plain lotion I guess. But a bit on the stickier side. Maybe that's the "sandalwood" scent
Consistency: white and creamy, takes a min to rub in. Not super mousterizing to be a thicker lotion.
Color: when I went to write this review an hour after tanning with it I was disappointed. I noticed no difference and didn't have a sticker outline at all. Now that it has been 4 hours my skin is pinker and I seem to be more brown. I am considering buying a bottle now.
Warming: I didn't feel anything. And I did get ATO it faded after two hours but I def smelt burnt.
I used this in the KBL for the full 10 min on caribic. My mother told me I looked darker than a few days ago, but that could be bc I haven't tanned in a few days. I wish I had one more packet to decide if its bottle worthy but I might just buy one. Ill update tomorrow on the color boost.

I thought I reviewed this but I guess not. I finished my bottle of this back in Febuary.
Scent-Defintley has a woodsy smell like incense but with a underlying fruity smell. I'd defintley say the woodsy smell overpowers it though and always gave me a headache.
Lotion- lotion is white and is about as thick as designer skin gets. Being a guy it was pretty hard to rub through my leg hair.
Warming- I always felt the warming with this one! Sometimes it would actually make me look pretty red like I just got out of a hot shower. It was really relaxing in the winter.
Color boost- for this just being an intiensifier I always got a great boost from this. It was my go too intensifier back when I had it.
All and all- I'm going to give this a 4.5/5. It would get a 5/5 but the scent was a little bit too much and gave me a headache. I always drove with the windows down after this one haha

I'm a huge wimp when it comes to anything that tingles or heats up--Pink Diamond is about the strongest I can do without feeling like I'm going to die That said, I didn't feel ANYTHING from this or even turn pink. None of the girls at my salon had tried it, so I really had to psych myself up to plunge into the great unknown today and then...nothing.
Like other reviewers have said, the smell is one you're either going to love or hate. I would describe it as warm wood with a chemical, fruity undertone. The ATO is, in my opinion, pretty strong and gross. Definitely something you want to try a packet of before getting the whole bottle!
I'm also not seeing a whole lot in terms of color boost (weird for me when using something by DS), but my skin is really soft. Personally, this is not something I would buy again. There are just too many other great-smelling, more-effective products out there. 3/5.

Rue La La is such a great warming intensifier, one that I can actually feel the warming from! It smells nice, goes on great, the bottle is big, and the color payoff is so nice. 5/5!
