Hi guys!
So I just did my first (and maybe last) spray tan at my salon today. It was a freebie in my package, so I figured I might as well use it. I did the Light application in the VersaSpa. I'm a little freaked out!
The nozzles moved faster than I thought they would and I think I did the positions okay, but I may not have been perfect about it. I showered and exfoliated beforehand and didn't apply any lotions after showering.
Do you think it'll look okay? I don't yet have a base (can do 10 minutes in a 15 minute bed) and was scared that Medium would turn me funny colors or look really fake.

To be honest I've had one spray tan and didn't really pay attention when the girl told me the various positions to stand in so I just freestyled it and it still turned out fine so I think the light one is pretty hard to mess up.

Thanks! That makes me feel better. I figure even if it's uneven I can just tan in the bed with a little extra bronzer lotion on the white spots until it fades.

I've never and when I say never I mean NEVER had a problem with the versa and I do a level 3. I do one once in a blue moon just if I'm feeling lazy and don't feel like Laying or if I'm going on vacation. I think it's hard to mess up the light version just because it's more of a light glow. I'm sure you'll turn out fine.

I've kind of stopped worrying now because I'm not really seeing much difference yet! Maybe I should have gone for Medium?

Normally it takes 4-6 hours. I would just sleep on it and see how it turns out. I'm sure it's gonna be fine

Light may not give you much. You'll have some good color in the morning when you wake up. Think of it as spray tan Christmas. I love me some Versa though. I sprayed either medium or dark bronze every week when I worked at PBT. I did the double dark bronze when we got the new Versa Pro & it was GAWJUS.

Well, when I woke up at the crack of dawn (4:15am) for work my fiancé woke up and said I definitely have more color. I don't look super dark, but I think it makes me look a lot more even and my arms look better since I can never get them to tan in the bed.
I may want to do this again! Maybe my salon will have a spray tan deal soon.
