I had a cat that was the same way the last year and a half of her life Marie... She couldn't hold her water or ... well you know ... the "Other" .... and I took care of her ever last minute of her life... I don't know at the people that tried to tell me the same thing... have her put to sleep... or there is no way I would take care of THAT CAT!! That's the one that would really hurt me... She wasn't Abby no more to them she was "That Cat" ... ... I still love her and miss her...

My dogs are my babies. One of them was adopted and she wears diapers because she has nerve damage and can't tell when she has to go to the bathroom. People think it's crazy, but I don't mind. She's pretty much the sweetest dog ever.

I have two German Shorthair Pointers, one 11 years old that I've had since a pup, and one 13 years old that I rescued 4 years ago. The younger has had a root canal ($1500) and I just found out he has bladder stones that need to be removed ($2000). I discovered a mast cell tumor on the older one right after I got him, $1500 for the surgery. Add $200/month for the routine medical visits and the human-grade food I have shipped in, and who knows how much on cookies, chews and toys...
but they're very happy dogs and I'm just grateful I can afford their care

My cat Tuberella means the world to me, so you aren't crazy at all. Now maybe if you had 15 cats and lived in a Studio, that would be another story.
My cat was found a stray, and the aspca took hold of her and NO ONE would adopt her because she was so overweight (24 pounds on an 11 pound frame), so I got her for free. After a few medical expenses she has been the best cat in the world and I love her unconditionally.
YAY! for cats

I am so anxious, expecting they endure the implant. lol Unfortunately, I won't know until springtime. There's no purpose they should not as I've done a lot of time of analysis, but it's still nervewracking!
