My review:
Scent: Sweet citrus. The scent mellowed out considerably while tanning. It reminds me of an older lotion I used to use, but I can't quite put my finger on it...
Texture/Color: Lotion is fairly thin, easy to rub in. It was a dark brown color.
Moisture: I felt like I definitely needed to use a moisturizer after tanning, but I waited until the next morning because I didn't want to cause any streaks. (I didn't have any streaks, by the way).
Bronzers: Very dark! Obviously, from the color of the lotion, there are a lot of cosmetic bronzers in this, but there's also a lot of DHA (it's the third ingredient). I applied carefully and wiped off my hands with a moist towelette afterwards and I didn't have any orange/stain issues.
ATO: The DHA smell was about as bad as other dark bronzers I've tried, like DC's Trinity XS. Tolerable, but not great.
I got a great color boost from this! I have a love/hate relationship with bronzers. I like the idea of them, but generally speaking, DHA develops more of a golden color on me and I really like to be more brown (don't we all?). Still, I do look darker. I will keep this in my rotation for special occasions.
4/5 (Could've been more moisturizing, ATO issues)

Type: DHA Bronzer Rating: 4 out of 5
Scent: Tart and citrus-y. It's very similar, if not the exact same, as the original Smoke Black. This lotion is supposed to have an ATO-hindering ingredient, but that didn't work out. Honestly, it didn't bother me because, in my opinion, anyone who uses a lotion with DHA as the 3rd ingredient should expect some ATO lol.
Lotion: Not super moisturizing, but not terrible.
Color: I got some nice color from this as I expected. However, I will say that it doesn't seem to be quite as dark as the original Smoke Black. It's only been 3 hours, so I'll update if I notice a drastic change when I wake up tomorrow, but I think it will end up being a bit lighter. Still a great lotion, but I'd probably buy the original Smoke Black over this one as long as I could find it. Once I couldn't find it anymore, I wouldn't really have any qualms about switching to this one.

Are there any pros to this one (like it get your browner instead of orangier) as opposed to the original?

As for any pros, I wouldn't say there are any, but nothing negative either. And no, my color has not deepened too much more.
