WARNING: I'm about to throw a brat fit. Beware.
As some of you may know, I'm getting a boob job this coming Tuesday. However, I can't tan for 6 months afterwards because of the way I scar. On top of that, I haven't been allowed to use ANY lotions (tanning or aftertan) that have tyrosine in them. Something about blood flow. Idk. SO, I haven't been able to tan with my beloved Pumped and several other lotions that I love. I've also had to buy a couple more after tan lotions because the ones I've been using have tyrosine in them. /: She said I could spray tan all I want, but no tanning. I work at a tanning salon. I'm going to go insane. I'm gonna have to find somewhere to lay out hahaha.

I always thought about putting bandaids on the scar if I would have went tanning. Idk how much that would have helped but hey hopefully I was thinking in the right direction. I don't think I tanned for at least a year after I had them done. Good luck on Tuesday and good luck figuring it all out!!

Thanks, Black on White but if I'm posting before and after pictures it'll be for girls only. Definitely won't be for some guy I don't even know. I doubt my boyfriend would appreciate that. :insert cheesy sarcastic winky face:
I'll probably just spray and lay outside. I'm paying good money for these babies and I don't want them to scar ugly haha.

My aunt just got hers done. Spitting image of anna Nicole smith minus the drug induced coma haha. I actually really miss her show as big as a train wreck as it was

I have been researching the and the BA sites all say they were told by their PS that after 6 weeks you should be fine where is the scar going? Crease,Aureola or armpit

6 months no tanning, eh? That's a long time! I could probably do it if it was my decision, but if someone else was TELLING me that I couldn't tan...well, I think that makes it harder somehow, lol. But imagine how happy you'll be that you listened to your doctors in the end when you don't have any scarring problems! As I'm sure you know, your tan wouldn't be worth potentially bad scars (which, unfortunately, outside of laser treatment, there's no real way to treat). Good luck with your surgery and your tanning hiatus! Hopefully the spray tans will get you through I'm sure you'll look awesome!

Crease,Aureola or armpit Since I'm having a lift and an implant put in due to lack of "mass" in them from the weight loss, I have a scar around my areola from where she cut them off and repositioned them, a vertical scar going down in the middle of my areola and a scar under the entire part of my boob and around to under my armpit where the bra band normally goes.

Awwww s**t the bed Jamie. So sorry to hear that. That is so weird about the tyrosine. Who knew?! Hope you are feeling better! I'm feeling a lot better. I'm just pretty sore. She took some extra skin off under my armpit area kind of and ended up having to do a deep suture that's affecting the nerves in that area. It's causing a chemical buildup that's so painful it takes my breath away. The only way to get relief is to put pressure on it to kind of "squeeze" the chemicals out of that area. Hurts like a mofo. That's really the only thing that's been bothering me, other than some general soreness. My 2 week is on the 12th, so hopefully I can get cleared to spray tan.
I think she said that the tyrosine causes the blood to flow faster, so that's why I couldn't have any before surgery. That included my beloved energy drinks and spark too.

Brave girl! I wouldn't have them done! lol I hope you feel better soon. A bit of pain in the short term is worth the long term gain. Heal quickly and go out and get some sun.
