Fragrance: Coconut Blossom
I used this yesterday afternoon after buying it from my salon. I've been wanting to do another spray tan, but even for members at my salon a single Versa Spa sesson is $35. This is way too expensive on my budget, so I've been looking for alternatives. My favorite girl at my salon recommended this and gave me her 50% off, so I figured I couldn't go too wrong. It came out to $30, which is what you can find it for on many lotion supply websites.
Fragrance: Even though there is a definite DHA odor with DHA being the third ingredient after water and alcohol, for the firest couple hours I didn't smell horrible. I smelled like a floral coconut with a subtle DHA undertone. If you needed to go grab something directly after spraying, you could leave the house. After about 6 hours it's game over and you're a full blown smelly mess.
Application: This is my first attempt at a home spray tan, so keep that in mind. Overall, I just followed directions trying to use long movements and keep the can around 8" from my skin. Inevitably, I wasn't perfect and so I had some blotches. I quickly rubbed them in with my hands using large circular motions, being careful not to over rub. The mist is very fine and feels similar to what the Versa Spa sprays.
Result: My color is definitely deeper, especially my legs. I ended up only having one little streak on my arm, probably from bumping into something directly after spraying. The rest of me, even places I needed to rub in, are totally streak-free. My feet are slightly yellow in tint and I would have preferred to get less spray on them, but since I did most of my body standing on a tile floor I think a lot of extra spray just kind of fell on top of them. This could easily be avoided next time.
Honestly, the result is shockingly similar to the Versa Spa Light I did about a month ago. If you don't have tons of money to spend definitely pick this up. It's hard to mess up and the color comes out very natural as long as you don't overdo it.
