I had a long, awful 10 months. I won't get into details here in this thread, but it involved mental abuse, severe depression, and I recieved what I can say is easily hands-down the worst news of my life. I'm really pushing to get past this. Baby steps, right? I got a gift certificate for one of my many local tanning places. This one was new and I hadn't been to it before, but I pushed myself to go. I haven't felt relief like that in so long! The salon was great! 12 beds, maybe 8 minutes from my home. Incredibly down-to-earth staff. One of the best parts? No preset bed timers! You get to start it yourself, whenever you're done getting undressed, lotioning up, etc. I'm so used to places giving me 3 or 5 minutes! All of the beds were brand-spankin new and a total dream. Even picked up a new lotion I'd never seen before, but I loved that, too! (It's called 212 Hot Action - I asked for the strongest tingle-bronzer they had). anyway I'm glad to be back. I've missed you guys so much

That's amazing, so glad to hear youre working past your hardships, you sound like one hell of a strong girl. That's something people don't understand about tanning for some of us; I myself have been dealing with insecuritites and finally decided to get back into tanning again and man am I glad I did. It has helped me so much! being a part of this online community and tanning in General.

I definitely understand you on the relief thing. I have pretty severe generalized anxiety disorder, and in addition to my medication tanning is the best thing I have found that can help me get through a really rough day. I'm glad to see you back around and hope things start looking up for you.

So glad you're doing better! As a long-time sufferer of Chronic Depressive Disorder and SADD(Seasonal Affective Depressive Disorder), I have found that the exposure to UV light from indoor tanning to be very beneficial and uplifting. Not to mention the added benefits of Vitamin D(I am/was also Vitamin D deficient)! I hope everything improves for you!

Welcome back to the Dark side. I hope you continue to do better. So sorry about your extra challenges. Keep tanning. It DOES make one feel better and happier, in my experience.
