So, I know that some of our mid-western U.S. friends have been having "spring" tornadoes and violent thunder storms recently. Well here in the Mid-Atlantic states we are breaking 100+ year old heat records. It is Christmas day and normally in the 20's or 30's here. Well today, 12/25/2015, it is 75 degrees, 100% humidity and I just turned on my AC because we are all sweating. My son is putting on shorts and we are about to go out to see the annual re-enactment of George Washington crossing the Delaware River. We live 10 minutes from where George Washington did his famous crossing of the Delaware on Christmas day in 1776. It's a little corny, but also really cool. 100's of participants get dressed up in colonial soldier outfits and they cross the Delaware right where George Washington did it to win the revolutionary war in 1776 in period typical "long boats". I am getting ready to go there with my 28 year old son now. Merry Christmas. www.washingtoncrossingpark.org/park/crossing-reenactment/

We were warm until the 27th, then 12 inches of snow. Hasnt stopped sprinkling snow since then, but only the original snow on the ground. The sprinkles , not enuf to make any difference. Had a very green Christmas, and even warmer the following day, maybe into the high 50s, but that is all over now since this coming Monday and Tuesday, we be in the single digits, but warming up as the week progresses.
We were all enjoying this global warming for a change. Should continue. Dont let these environmentalists make you believe that they can control the temperature of the planet when they do not even know what the weather will be next week.
