So, I am 33 years old and I have never tanned in or outside. I started tanning a few weeks ago and I have a good base going but I use a towel over my face because I am worried about wrinkles and aging but I want to get a good tan on my face too. Suggestions? I go about 15 minutes at a time and I use some lotion called beach bum that they gave me.

There's not much you can do, you can protect your face, or tan it. I think its best to keep a towel over your face (thats what i try to do when i remember) and i just purchase a darker foundation to match my body. Id prefer to keep my face as healthy as possible! You can also self tan your face to match your body! Goodluck with it! xx

Hey there! Usually a towel over the face only provides an SPF protection of 4 in the tanning beds. Does your salon have any of the beds where you can turn the facial lamps off? If you're worried about fine lines and aging invest in a good facial tanning product. My two favorites are Australian Gold Crystal Faces or the California Tan ComplexION facial. Both are made for in tanning bed use and your tanning salon should sell at least one of those!
