I read in a Groupon Goods email trying to sell toothbrush sanitizers that UV light kills 99.9% of germs on the toothbrush. I wonder if that means when we're laying in the bed, it's killing germs on our hands, etc. ?!?! If so, that's awesome!

That's interesting... You know if you think about it I would guess it does kill a lot of germs and bacteria like if you have breakouts on your back chest or face it will kill those germs and bacteria and dry up the zit.... So I guess there is a very good possibility it does...

Actually - to my knowledge this is all TRUE!!!! I consider UV exposure (TANNING) part of my genetic Immune Deficiency - medical treatment. I GET SICK LESS, my skin is BETTER, and I FEEL BETTER when I TAN regularly.

I GET SICK LESS, my skin is BETTER, and I FEEL BETTER when I TAN regularly. This is exciting! So, this could be completely coincidental. Yesterday, I was feeling a little queasy, like I was coming down with a stomach bug. It was very light, definitely in the beginning stages. I went tanning. Today, I feel completely normal. Could just be a good immune system butt kicking though. hahaha ;D

UVC is used in these type of product and is lethal to small cells like bacteria/viruses. It would quickly give you a horrendous sunburn.
Tanning rays... UVA and UVB are not(at least not quickly)

I believe it does. I started tanning when I was 15, I have really bad acne and tanning has always helped my breakouts. Drys out my oily face and kills the germs on my skin.
