What is your salon's policy if you are tanning during a storm.
We have been having some very nasty storms today and I found out that my new salon will turn the beds off if it begins to lightning outside. This made me feel great because I feel like they were watching out for me.
If a tanner gets to the salon and it is lightning, they will not allow that person to tan until the storm is over.

It's funny you mention that...I'm afraid of being stuck in a bed if the power goes out lol. Just one of those "what ifs" you think of laying in there nekkid.

I used to be afraid of getting stuck in the beds but not anymore.
I don't mind tanning if it is raining but I do not like tanning during a storm. All that thunder and lightning scares me so I just wait until it passes or I just do not go that day.

The salon I go to closes anytime there's inclement weather and sometimes even if there's a warning. Its a pain too cause if it storms for a short period then it clears up they stay closed. Better safe than sorry I guess

Our lightning storms r mild...and I'll tan when it's gloomy. I feel it's a great to tan when it's raining warm up a bit. Some ppl think ur skin has to match the weather but whatever...Cali baby.

I honestly don't know if my tanning salon closes the beds during a storm. I went once while it was raining but it wasn't storming. I don't get there anyway while it's storming, haha.

My friend doesn't let anyone use the booths or beds if its a storm with a lot of lightening ... Regular rain yes... I myself don't use my home bed when its storming and I always unplug it when it's doing so ... It had came a massive storm while I was tanning Tuesday and I didn't even know it was raining for the sound of the and fans running plus my iPod playing music... ;D

My salon doesn't close no matter what. LOL. I don't know if that's good or bad.

There was actually a pretty bad storm warning around my area yesterday and when I got almost there the national weather service thing came on the radio saying to take cover so I ended up going home and waiting for it to pass. Went back about an hour later when it had all passed. The girl and I actually joked about being stuck in a bed and having a tornado hit and then someone finding me naked in a field somewhere...guess it'd be an interesting ride lol

I know I’m a little late on this but there’s actually a severe thunder storm warning right now and I’m tanning as we speak. I don’t worry the worst that should happen is the bed will turn off

I have a fear of tanning during a thunderstorm. For some reason it gives me flashbacks of Final Destination and I just imagine being trapped in the bed and like, frying. But that doesn’t even make sense because the lack of electricity would shut the bed off. Idk. Lol 😅
