Anyone else trying to lose weight? I am considered obese according to my BMI so I've been trying for at least 4 years to lose all the weight I put on from my second pregnancy. I didn't put this thread in the diet section because I'm not on any specific diet. I just started a new medicine 3 weeks ago and it is like magic! I've lost 10lbs since I got put on it. Anyway i was just wondering if there were any other plus size girls on here? I'm a size 16 (was an 18).

I'm a plussie!!!! haha. Was a size 10 2 years ago and slowly ballooned up to a 14. Grrrr :/ lol but fortunately (?) lol lately stress has taken my appetite down in a big way, plus I drink shakeolgy, so I've dropped about 14 pounds without really trying. Sometimes it's the only meal I can bring myself to have in a day!!! And no, I'm not an active selling coach, so not trying to sell to anyone

I've always been more comfortable with a little meat tho, maybe because my mom was 4'10 and 79 pounds in high school and hated it. So I've always felt better being toned but bigger. She always made me feel proud of my muscular legs, because she felt her skinny legs were ugly

I dont mind being a little chunky I mean I felt perfectly proportioned in a size 10. But I don't think I could even get down to that now. I have wide mommy hips lol. My boyfriend likes thick girls so I'm pretty comfortable in my weight in that aspect. It would just be nice to wear the cute clothes in forever 21 and love culture.

I'm a former size 3 who ballooned up to an 18, thanks to taking statins for years (biggest mistake of my life, NEVER TAKE STATINS!). But since I dropped the statins last year my body is starting to recover, I lost 20 pounds last summer, gained back 10 of it, and hopefully will be able to get down to a size 12-14 over this next summer. I was 5'0 and 95 pounds in high school and until I had my first baby, and I loved it, I always felt that being tiny was the one thing that made me kinda special.

My boyfriend needed to lose about 60 pounds because his doctor was worried about pre-diabetes. We found the Whole30 and it's seriously a life changer!! We finished one and I lost 10 lbs and he lost 25. We're starting another one soon

Statins are a class of cholesterol-lowering drugs, such as Lipitor, Zocor, and Pravachol. Usually doctors prescribe them when a patient has cholesterol higher than 200, or when the LDL, or bad cholesterol, is over a certain percent of the HDL/LDL ratio(good cholesterol to bad cholesterol). People who take statin drugs should take a CoQ10 supplement, as statins tend to deplete the body of CoQ10. Statins are also hard on the liver, and shouldn't be taken by anyone with liver impairment or liver disease. Statins can also cause mental impairment and type 2 diabetes.

Maybe in 2014 they didn't?
