Some of you may remember from the old site that I got breast implants back in 2009. I absolutely love them, but am leaning towards getting them replaced in the next few years. I have low profile saline implants that are 575cc's. I'm looking for a more moderate profile and leaning towards silicone for my next round. If anyone here has them, do you have silicone or saline and what made you choose? I chose saline at the time because not only were they a few thousand cheaper (I was already spending nearly 10k at the time) but I felt like they were safer. I love the way they feel and I've never had an issue with rippling and my boyfriend didn't know they were fake until a couple of months down the road, haha! But I would just like to give silicone a chance

I paid 4,900 for mine and my dr is excellent. I've never had a problem even with all the weight I've gained. I gained about 50 lbs since the surgery and it actually makes them look more natural. Most people only know they are implants because I tell them. I want mine replaced soon too. I just don't have the money for it though.

I have gained 40lbs since I had mine done and you are right, it does make them look more natural. However, someone told me once I start losing weight, they will shrink?! haha, I don't think so!! How the hell can they shrink when the implants are a certain size?! I do miss how high they sat up prior to my weight gain.

Well hunnie to be honest, if you're not having any problems with the saline then I'd just stick with the saline. I had saline years ago and the rippling got terrible!! And they felt so baggy. Like those bags with water and the goldfish in it that you just won from doing the Damn ring toss at the carnival. Haha Because yes if they happen to rupture saline is definitely safer. Silicone is a sloppy mess to get out of your body. Which is my biggest fear. But I do love my silicone implants so much better than my saline. All my complaints with saline , you are not having which is why you should probably just stick with the saline ones babe.

I know this set won't last forever and my doctor said every 8-12 years his patients come back for a new set. He said some women have had the same set of implants with 20 years with no complications. I know it's only been five years but I anxiously await new implants. I know that sounds crazy! I love plastic surgery, haha

As a gastric bypass patient at my heaviest I weighed 272 at 5'2 and 20 years old. I developed boobs in freaking 4th grade & was a D by 6th grade. Yay. -_- I've lost 110 pounds since my surgery and I made the decision to get a lift. My boobs did NOT lose well because they were already on the saggy side from weight fluctuations and being so large for so long. The only problem is that because of all of my weight loss, there's nothing really left in my boobs to lift. So on May 27th, I'm getting a lift and moderate profile silicone implants. I chose the silicone because the saline felt to me like what I already had-droopy, deflated bags of water. I'm so excited, but so terrified at the same time. I have to be out of work for a month, off my horses for 2 months at least & I can't tan for 6 months. But for the first time in my life, I'll be able to wear strapless bras. I've never been able to buy a decent bathing suit. In fact, the last one I bought I had to put a strapless bra underneath it to try and provide a little support. Those were some fun tan lines. Hahahaha.

I need to keep my babies held up with some sort of straps. I even sleep in sports bras with a bosom buddy pillow between them. It helps reduce chest wrinkles from boobs/chest area skin squishing together.

Hahahaha. Congrats on losing all that weight ! Good luck with the surgery. Getting a boob job is one of the best things I've ever done for myself. I actually was set to get gastric bypass surgery next year. We started the process in march but since then I have lost some weight because of a new medicine and no longer qualify.

Hahahaha. You go girl!!! So happy for you You will be so, so pleased, I promise you. I was off from work for two weeks and I will tell you, it's painful. I had my implants under the muscle so it hurt so bad, trying to do anything that required me moving my arms. But once the pain and swelling went down, I was so happy with the decision I made. Trust me, it will be so worth it for you. Now maybe after you get your new knockers, (lol), you might have the same problem I have when I tan, in that my boobs are so big they fly back and leave these sexy, little white creases near where my chest meets my armpit. Never had that problem when I was an A cup lol. Good luck honey, Facebook message me if you have any questions.
