I am going to use my st tropez mouse tonight and I haven't been able to uv tan in about 5 days now. I want to fake tan tonight and tan in a booth before I go to a party tomorrow. If I really like the tanner I might use it more often. Well my tanning lotion affect my fake tan in any way? I don't use bronzers much and if I do it's a natural bronzer.
Also I'm refurring to the days after my fake tan. Is it ok for me to use the tanning bed every other day still?

Yes, you CAN, but you should know that heavy amounts of DHA (such as that found in self-tanners) will actually block some UV rays until it fades after 2 or 3 days. Also, UV tanning less than 24 hours after using heavy amounts of DHA increases free radical damage by 110%. I can't find the article with that info that I wanted to link to! Well, there is a legit source lol. If I find it, I'll come back and edit my post. So yeah, I'd say skip UV tanning tomorrow if you use St Tropez tonight. Just my thoughts though.

O.O That is an interesting fact I've never heard before, thanks for sharing!! What about doing a "double dip" (spray tan then UV tanning immediately after)?

You should UV tan and THEN spray tan immediately after. (It also helps because the UV tanning opens up your pores, allowing the spray tan to absorb more readily.)

I wonder why a bunch of sites say your tan can peak up to 48 hrs later if it's starting to fade then. But I also read the darker the spray the longer it stays. I got sprayed last night before close so I can't tan til tomorrow but I will anyway
