Has anyone had there’s done ? I’ve been thinking of getting mine done but I’ve got a really low pain threshold and was wondering how much it will hurt if I go ahead with it ......?

I got mine done when I was 16 (I'm 29 now). It stung, I won't lie, but it was completely tolerable. It felt like getting a vaccination with a needle that's a bit too big. Plus, the pain was pretty much gone in 10 minutes. However, make sure you are fine with having a hole in your stomach for the rest of your life. Unlike earring holes, a naval piercing hole will never "grow back in." When I was around 20, I went 6 or 7 years without putting a belly ring in it. A couple of years ago, I decided on a whim to put a ring in it and it went in as if I hadn't missed a day. The skin "heals" around the ring after you have it done, so the hole will not close up unless the ring is forcibly ripped out or something happens to it that makes your body think it needs to heal the skin again. That may be fine with you--it's fine with me--but it's worth pointing out!

I had my belly button pierced when I was 16 and again arund 21 (I'm 29 now) and I remember no pain at all. I have been pierced practically everywhere there is to be pierced so I know which ones hurt lol. I removed the piercings maybe 2 years after each initial piercing and when I had my children at 19 & 25 the hole/scar stretched from my belly stretching and now I have this dark spot on my belly from where it stretched at. Its not attractive at all.
But as far as pain goes....It was a breeze.

I got mine done and I was really surprised at how little it hurt. Get it if you want it! Everyone's bodies react differently to taking a piercing out

I have taken out all of my piercings but a few, but one thing after working at a tanning salon and at a tattoo shop I can tell you from experience, both witnessing and personally, UV rays DRY out a new piercing, and it isn't recommended you go tanning until the piercing (or tattoo) is fully healed.

If I had a flatter stomach I've always thought it was a cute piercing. If I can ever afford a tummy tuck I just may get one
