Hello! During my search for some of the best indoor tanning lotions I got a recommendation to use Just Nutritive Indoor Tanning Oil. This friend said it has made her the darkest in the quickest amount of time than anything else ever had for her. I had to check it out and the price seems great. The ingredients list is awesome with only natural oils. I actually have most of these oils on hand since I make my own natural skin care oils. So I thought I about whipping some up and trying it out.. BUT, I want to make sure they won't harm my tanning beds acrylics!
Here is the ingredient list:
Macadamia Integrifolia (Macadamia Nut Oil), Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Oil, Vitis Vinifera (Grapeseed) Oil, Oryza Sativa (Rice Bran) Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Rubus Idaeus (Red Raspberry Seed) Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot Kernel) Oil, Cucurbita Maxima (Pumpkin Seed) Oil, Prunus Amygdalus (Almond) Oil, Nigella Sativa (Black Cumin Seed) Oil, Hippophae Rhamnoides (Sea Buckthorn) Oil, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame Seed) Oil, Tocopherol (Vitamin E).
Thanks for any advice!

Hey,
Good question you have. I am not a chemist, but I would be hesitant using any oil in a tanning bed, especially my own. Wish I could help, but hopefully someone will respond and can assist you.
Have you thought of trying this lotion mix in a stand-up tanning booth? That is if you can locate a salon that is open during this time of corona virus. Many salons here in Tucson have closed for several weeks, how about up in Ohio.
Best to you and stay safe.

Mineral oil is the culprit so as long as that's not in there it should be ok but I'd use it in a stand up.

Been tanning at home and just started up a couple weeks ago from my winter hiatus. I use to use Rio's Body Butter oil and I loved it so much.. I bought that at a salon many years ago (they still make it) so I figured it was ok to use oils in beds, but wasn't sure if any of the above listed oils would harm my beds acrylics.

That is what I was thinking but I wanted to make positive because the last thing I want to do is cause my acrylics to fog up or crack. I'm excited to get those last couple ingredients I don't have and whip me some up! Should be good under my sunscreen this summer and as a basic skin moisturizer between sessions.. these are great oils for the skin!

Makes a mess on the acrylics. Have heard several salon owners, state "it is easier (though more expensive)to just replace the acrylics - rather than attempt to clean or remove the mineral oil residue".
