Hi all!
Quick intro - My name is Keiha, I used to be a part of the original IAMTAN years ago, back in 2010! At the time I was working in a tanning salon and wanted to gain more education about beds and lotions, as well as learn how to get tan as well. I got SO dark back then thanks to the help I gained from using the forums.
It's now 2020, a whole decade later, and I find myself back working at a tanning salon again! I still retain some of the knowledge I previously had but want to relearn, as well as see which new products and beds are hot currently. I'm paler than ever now, as I couldn't really afford tanning for a long time, but want to get back to my brown self.
However, I'm wondering how active this forum is? I do see some posts from this year, but want to know if this is the best site to use at the moment to gain knowledge on current products, beds, etc. IAMTAN was so active back in the day, and I really miss the forum!
Also, can anyone suggest an accelerator I should try out? My fave brands back in the day were DS, DC, and Supre but Im open to all suggestions! (Nothing too florally scented please!)

Hey,
I hear your lament. Like yourself I was an active member of the old IAMTAN and I miss the fond good old days that I remember. However, change is a constant and like everything there has been a definite change in the number people who enjoy and appreciate the look of a person who spends time in the sun or at the salon. Assume that a lot of this has to do with people heeding the advice of medical professionals on the the potential hazards of UV.
hope you are able to locate an accelerator that you desire. continue tanning and enjoy. If your wondering, I still tan (probably to much at times - but that is our little secret).
Have a joyful and peaceful holiday season. Also stay safe, healthy and sane when dealing covid.
Wish

It's funny you say that maybe less people tan; I moved to Arizona a few years ago, and when I was working in the tanning salon I was in Washington state - many people expect that Arizonans wouldn't tan much especially in comparison to Washingtonians, turns out that's WRONG. We have so many tanning clients!
I am looking forward to get back in the tanning groove!
