So, it's Sunday and typically that's was I call my "reset" day. I usually have a long pampering 'fest for myself to get the new week started on the right foot. I'd figure I'd share my routine and if anyone else would like to share theirs, that would be great! For me, I start off with a full body exfoliation with a salt scrub from Philosophy. I LOVE this product because it's not oily and you rub yourself down while your skin is still dry, then rinse. Unfortunately it's discontinued so I'll have to find something else when it's gone Afterwards, I use a Clarisonic-type item on my face with a micro scrub, also from Philosophy. Sometimes if I want to use a natural product I squeeze lemon juice on a cotton round and sprinkle sugar on it and use that for my facial scrub...it really leaves your skin soft and smooth! Then i apply a mask and leave it sit while I wash and deep condition my hair. I'll buff my feet with a pumice block. And after all us said and done I follow up with my "lotion of the week" moisturizer. I switch it up every week so I don't get bored with one type or another. So, what are your rituals or favorite pampering products?

Thanks for starting this thread, I like this idea! Sundays are usually my "reset" days too. If I can't get a pedicure at the nail salon on a Sunday, I'll do my own at home. I mainly do my own fingernails anyway, so I always take old polish off on Sundays and use CND Solar Oil on my nails to keep my cuticles and nails healthy. I try and let my fingernails breath for a couple of days naturally and I usually will polish them on Tuesday. Sunday is when I exfoliate too. I have an exfoliating mitt from Beautisol that came with their sunless tanner that I absolutely love. It does the job well enough on it's own that I don't need a scrub to go with the mitt.

I do a lottttta crap. Monthly I wax, usually just bikini area and around my face with a homemade sugar wax. Any areas with hair left over I pluck, or use a facial hair removal cream. I also deep condition my hair once a month. It could def use more but I always forget. Once a week I'll exfoliate with baking soda, sometimes more if I use sunless tanner. Since I am currently using it, I apply it once a day (if it's gradual) or once every other day after my shower. I trim, file and paint my nails and toes once a week or more if I get super tired of the color, and I always do. I pluck stray hairs from my eyebrows every few days if need be. On a daily basis I wake up, use an aloe moisturizer, and a couple hours later I get in the shower, shave, wash my hair, wash my face with aveeno skin brightening scrub (i love it) and use a softsoap body wash. I also find that a hot shower or bath makes it easy to pick off glitter nail polish rather than trying to take it off with acetone. I get out, brush my teeth and put on a sunless if I'm using one. Then I put my Roc retinol daily..stuff lol on my face and neck (since I don't tan them it doesn't matter) and Roc eye cream on, and layer it with clean n clear dual action moisturizer. Then I use a mix of john frieda heat protection serum mixed with chi silk infusion in my wet hair, comb it out, and round brush it. Then straighten it. Then makeup. At night I shower it all off and moisturize all over again. phew!

I shave almost daily! Can't stand any hairs...I like to be lotioned and smooth from head to toe.
Rt now I am only tanning once a week, so I can keep my skins health in tact and keep it from being orange. I already have my base tan...so that fixes that...and I always shower before my tan a hot one to open pores...and it makes the staying power better, and lat long...too much tanning dries my face too much...so I tend to cover my face halfway through my tan.
I exfoliate with Queen Helene as needed at least 2 a week...
I wash my hair every two days...I use John Frieda go lighter, conditioner and shampoo. The purple John Frieda is once a week or my hair looks too platinum...and as a ntural brunette, and a tanner I need some depth so I don't look aged (I have very pale caramel lowlights on platinum, and need to keep those in tact) John Frieda go lighter keeps my base tone (platinum fresh)
For hair care, I use Giovanni straightening serum (I have curly hair), and Shea Radiance Shea Butter Straightening and soothing mist) I also use Argan oil...and then blow dry straight and flat iron with my NUME Couture Flat Iron in purple.
On a daily basis I use Andalou Naturals Luminous Eye Brightening Serum, and Andalou Naturals Daily Defense Facial Lotion with SPF 18 when I am not tanning, just to keep my skin moist, and it has no chemicals to cause breakouts...its a fruit stem cell product love it.
I get manicures and pedicures monthly with an Orly, Zoya, or Mineral Fusion polish. From Orly I love Elation Generation, From Zoya I love Kimber, and Mineral Fusion I love Grotto, but I am always changing it up, even my makeup....
I don't shower twice a day, but I do use makeup remover at night, and cleanse since I wear a full face of makeup...always doing makeup looks its essential !

I use rose water and serums sometimes at night for my face but mostly my only ritual is keeping my feet wrapped. Not having a car has taken quite the toll and I mostly wear sandals so my heels get cracked easily. In between pedicures I soak my feet 25 mins then buff with Ped Egg and massage in a bunch of stuff (coconut, Argan and other oils, Epsom salt lotion, vit E, arnica, Heel Rescue, top it off with Vaseline to seal, plastic hair caps and socks overnight.
