I won't lie I'm not a fan of my naturally curly hair lol so yes I straighten and LOVE my straightener BUT after my last recent trim 2weeks ago and due to the obvious heat damage I have decided to embrace my natural very spiral curly hair for a while and take a break from the heat.
I just last night at CVS picked up OGX/Organix hair products..I got the Coconut Milk antibreakage serum and the Kukui oil and the curling cream. Friday I'm gonna get the Kukui oil shampoo and conditioner too.
Do any of you have products that you love and swear by that are a must have for your curly hair?

I have naturally wavy hair but when I try to make the curliness stand out more I use the curl cream by frutisse or whatever that brand is with the green packaging. Lol. It's not gross feeling n my hair doesn't get hard when I use it. Now that I cut my hair though I won't be using it for awhile. Lol

I think I have tried that in that past but I'll have to double check. I love Garnier stuff the anti humidity stuff works good for me...my hair gets nasty kinky and frizzy too in humid weather.

Not curl-related, but I love Organix shampoo/conditioner! It honestly gives a noticeable difference to my hair when I use it. They just started releasing generic versions of it by Equate which is half the price, so I'm buying those now. So happy I can use them again lol.

I've tried several, but my favorite is the Brazilian Keratin Therapy one because it makes my hair dry a little straighter. Obviously, you won't want that one lol. Other favorites are Moroccan Argan Oil and Pomegranate Green Tea. I've used the Coconut Milk one that you got and loved that one too! They all smell really good, and I love that they're sulfate-free. That stuff is sooo drying that it amazes me so many shampoos have sulfates in them!

I loaded up on deep conditioners this weekend and got a bunch of stuff for my curls.
Its been hard for me not to grab my straightener but I'm 2 1/2 weeks into no heat on my hair!!!! So far so good (its just hard to get used to) and next month I'll be getting another trim to my wack ends that have lost their curl from the damage.

I have naturally very thick wavy hair, which I HATE I might add, so I LOVE LOVE LOVE my straighter. But my hair does not. I hate the damage it does to my hair, but I refuse to go "natural" with my hair. I'm always looking for any product I can find that works well to help fight the damage from drying and straightening.

I hear you! Its been a struggle for me not to grab my straightener but its now to the point even when using heat protectors the damage is still so bad where my hair just breaks and won't get any longer

I definitely know what it's like having damaged hair. And having to chop it all off and to go through the whole growing out and letting hair rest and repair itself. It takes forever!!! So I feel your agony. But I'm loving your new pic ! Looking great!! You keep rocking those curls dollface, beautiful.
